In addition to riding skills, campers in Short Stirrup Camp will learn horse care and
horse-handling skills which will allow them to be more independent and confident with
the care of their horses. Short Stirrup Campers have the opportunity to participate in
a horse show on Wednesdays and/or Sundays of each week of camp. Those who participate
in at least three shows during the summer will have the opportunity to participate in
the Hampton Classic.

Ages: All Ages
Required equipment: ASTM Approved Helmet, Long Pants (Breeches preferred),
Tall boots or half chaps, Jumping Bat and Gloves
Experience required: W/T/C, jumping small lines
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday (9am-noon)
Price per week: $800.00*
Session One: June 28-July 30 2010 - $3500.00*
Session Two: August 2-September 3 2010 - $3500.00*
Weeks 1 & 2 offered with 20% discount.
Camp dates: Week of June 14th through week of August 30th

Students who wish to participate in more then 3 shows, will need to lease or buy a pony or horse. Stony Hill is waiving this requirement for the 2010 season.
*Short Stirrup students who ½ lease receive a 10% discount. Student who own or full lease receive a 20% discount.
